Mouse playing trumpet double brooch with musical notes
A very cute one of a kind brooch featuring a white mouse playing a trumpet from which musical notes drift out. I made the brooch by crocheting coloured and gold plated wire with a tiny crochet hook, I carefully added much detail to the brooch adding a striped pink tail, blushing cheek, little rhodonite bead nose, black onyx eyes and trumpet buttons and a little blue dress with frilly trim which has a tiny pocket with a mother of pearl flower popping out of it. The gold plated wire trumpet the mouse is playing has a sterling silver chain attached from which musical notes hang, the last musical note has a brooch pin so when wearing the double brooch it appears that the musical notes are drifting through the air, you can see the back of the brooch in picture five. The mouse playing her trumpet not including her tail measures 6cm (2.4 in) tall and 5.5cm ( 2.2 in) wide, the large musical note brooch measures 3cm (1.2 in) by 3cm and the chain from the trumpet to the large musical note measures 12cm (4.7 in) long.
