A one of a kind, unusual and cute brooch featuring a hedgehog who is watering her flower pot. I created the brooch by crocheting coloured and silver plated wire and took great care and attention to detail adding extra details using semi precious stones and wire. I gave the hedgehog rosy cheeks, a tiny rhodonite bead mouth, tiny tigers eye eyes and a tiny black onyx bead nose. She is joyfully watering her flower pot which is brimming with mother of pearl leaves and flowers and a pretty orange semi precious stone flower, the large mother of pearl flowers have sun stone tiny bead centers. The brooches are attached with sterling silver chain and both the pot and hedgehog have a brooch pin which gives the effect of water falling from the watering can onto the flowers when it is worn, you can see the back of the brooch in picture five. The hedgehog and watering can brooch measures 6cm (2.4 in) tall and 6cm wide and the flower pot brooch measures 5cm ( 2 in) tall and 3cm (1.2 in) wide, the four sterling silver chains attaching the brooches each measure approximately 5cm ( 2 in) long .
