Fox catching falling stars double brooch
I created the brooch by crocheting and sewing coloured copper wire. The fox has a sardonyx agate stone eye and a black jasper stone nose. He is wearing a waistcoat with black onyx stone buttons and tiny gold plated beads decorating it. The fox holds a net made by crocheting and wrapping stainless steel wire over a strong silver plated wire frame. The second brooch is a crochet wire moon and connecting the brooches together is a sterling silver chain I decorated with three white howlite stone stars.
The fox has an ordinary brooch pin and measures 5.5cm (2.2 in) tall and 6.5cm (2.6 in) wide including his net. The moon has a tie tac brooch pin and measures 2.5cm (1 in) tall and 2cm (0.8 in) wide and the chain connecting the brooches together is 7.5cm (3 in) long.
