Catch a falling star hedgehog necklace
One of a kind necklace featuring a little hedgehog trying to catch falling stars in her net.
I created the hedgehog by crocheting coloured copper and silver filled wire, she has a tiny black onyx stone eye and a tiny sterling silver bead nose. The hedgehog is holding a net I made by crocheting and wrapping silver filled wire over a stainless steel sturdy wire base. The pendant hangs from a sterling silver chain with a lobster claw closure and I decorated the chain with three beautiful mother of pearl stars.
The hedgehog holding her net pendant measures about 3cm (1.2 in) tall and 5cm (2 in) long and the necklace measures approximately 47cm (18.5 in) long.
