Cat fishing bracelet ring
One of a kind, fun and unusual cuff bracelet and ring set with detachable chain.
I created the cuff bracelet by crocheting coloured copper wire around a strong wire frame. The bracelet has a sea theme and is decorated with large and tiny moonstones and clear quartz stone chips. The centre piece of the bracelet is a fish I made by weaving, sewing and crocheting coloured wire over a beautiful mother of pearl oval stone and the fish has a tiny labradorite eye.
The ginger cat ring was also made by crocheting coloured wire, he has tiny peridot stone eyes and a tiny white howlite stone nose and I carefully sewed wire to make his whiskers and mouth. The cat holds a tiny fish he caught earlier in one hand and a fishing rod in the other. I made the fishing rod by wrapping black wire over stainless steel wire and added a dalmation jasper stone for extra detail and the fishing cat is attached to a sterling silver adjustable ring.
The chain connecting the bracelet to the ring is sterling silver, the chain has a sterling silver spring ring clasp on either end which allows the bracelet and ring to be worn separately as well as together as one piece. One clasp clips onto the end of the cats fishing rod and the other clips onto a sterling split ring hook which I attached close to the fishes mouth.
The cuff bracelet is about 4.5cm (1.8 in) wide and can be adjusted to fit many wrist sizes, The cat sculpture on the ring measures 3.5cm (1.4 in) tall and about 3.5cm wide and the ring is adjustable. The chain connecting the bracelet to the ring is about 14cm (5.5 in) long when detached.
