Bear fishing bracelet ring
One of a kind bracelet ring featuring a bear fishing. This set consists of a fish swimming in water bracelet, a bear with a fishing rod ring and a detachable chain that has a clasp on both ends and fish decorating it. The chain connects the bracelet to the ring so it looks like the bear is fishing but the chain can also be detached from the ring and bracelet so the two pieces can also be worn separately.
I created the bracelet by crocheting 99.9 fine silver wire over which I crocheted a coloured copper wire pattern for the water. I crocheted the fish using coloured copper wire and added magic bronze beads to add detail to the scales and the fish has a tigers eye stone for its eye.I added three mother of pearl drop shapes to give the impression of a splashing fish, some quartz stone chips for the top of the bracelet and some sodalite stone chips for the bottom. The bracelet has a sterling silver slide tube magnet clasp.
I created the bear ring by crocheting coloured copper wire and he has tiny black onyx stones for his eyes and nose. I gave the bear a red jacket with gold trim and tiny copper beads for buttons. The bear holds a sturdy fishing rod I made by wrapping black wire over a stronger stainless steel wire base. The bear sits on an adjustable hammered sterling silver ring.
The chain that can connect the ring to the bracelet is sterling silver with a sterling spring ring clasp on either end and I decorated it with two mother of pearl ghostly fish charms. The clasps hook onto the end of the bears fishing rod and a hoop just behind the fishes mouth.
The bracelet measures 4.5cm (1.8 in) wide at its widest point and 18cm (7.1 in) long and will fit up to a 17cm (6.7 in) size wrist. The bear with his rod measures 2.5cm (1 in) tall and 2.5cm wide and 1.5cm (0.6 in) thick, the ring is adjustable and fits a size 6 US and up. The chain connecting the bracelet to the ring is 11.5cm (4.5 in) long.
